Preparing a diesel enquiry

A diesel enquiry should distinguish the named grade from its detailed requirements. Quantity, delivery timing and any expressly required product properties help avoid mismatched offers.

Buying diesel

Include the requested grade or specification and any stated sulphur limit with its unit. Add quantity, destination, delivery timing and whether supply is one-off or recurring. If your business has cold-weather or blend requirements, state them explicitly rather than assuming a grade name covers them.

Offering diesel

Describe the grade, stated sulphur content, quantity and origin or loading location that can be confirmed. Separate the proposed delivery schedule from confirmed product information. Include your relationship to the seller and whether supporting specifications or test reports are available, without presenting an unreviewed claim as verified.

After you submit

Successful submissions receive a CSI reference for follow-up. Contact details stay off the public opportunity board. Submitting a requirement or offer does not publish it or confirm availability, verification or an introduction. Initial enquiries need only document availability, not passports, bank details or proof documents.

How CSI introductions work
Our role

CSI introduces buyers and sellers. An enquiry is not confirmation of availability, verification or an agreement. Terms and required checks remain subject to review.
